Rahul Reddy A is a Software Engineer, Staff at Qualcomm Inc. with over 11 years of relevant experience in software design and development, operating systems, device driver design and development, and computer architecture. He is currently working on expanding and maintaining the software stack for the Hypervisor Execution Layer [EL2] on ARM Cores, which is used along with System MMU for access control on the SoC. Rahul is experienced in developing RTOS/Microkernel modules, developing Board Support Package Drivers for ARM-based cores, and virtualization and memory management techniques. Rahul has managed the entire cycle of chipset bring-up for the said modules and has acted as a single point of contact for any debug support on the System MMU driver in the Asia Pacific region. He was part of the two-member global team responsible for the driver that handles the System MMU, which is a non-processor based memory management unit that performs memory management functions on behalf of masters that do have their own MMU (typically all masters except APPS CPU). Rahul successfully commercialized the same on Snapdragon 400 and Snapdragon 600 series chipsets. Rahul has a Master's degree in Computer Science from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT).
